We have completed the initial stage of work on the first deliverable of the ELEPHANT project, i.e. the report on the state of e-learning in the humanities. The first step was to formulate detailed questions about what information we want to obtain during the research. During consultations and meetings of the team working on the first result of the intellectual work, we created a set of research questions oscillating around such issues as: the extent of the use of e-learning and current legal regulations on e-learning in different countries, universities and fields of study; the experiences of lecturers, students, doctoral students and management concerning e-learning; good practices in e-learning; further prospects for e-learning. This stage is behind us. The next step in preparing the report is to define the key terms, which will be used during the research. The work is in progress.
